In 1999, Kerry Olsen won tickets to a BYU game in San Diego. He showed up with his face painted, full of energy, and fans took notice. He worked his way down to the front of the stadium, igniting the crowd with his spirit. That game changed everything.

Soon after, he got season tickets—and never looked back.
Every game: face paint.
Every cheer: louder than the last.
Every moment: lived with Cougar pride.

At a local sports bar, friends couldn’t believe his game-day intensity.
“You’re insane about the Cougs—you’re Crazy Coug!”
The nickname stuck. The legend grew.
